Since 2012, Dodenhoff has led all aspects of Insight’s U.S. business, including sales, marketing, operations, services and profitability — based on the earnings reports year over year, the University of Colorado business-school graduate must be doing something right. After a rocky 2013, in which sales decreased in three consecutive quarters, North American sales have been up every quarter since, with net sales soaring to $1.4 billion in the second quarter of 2018. A former mortgage banker who, after noticing a flaw in the loan-approval process, set out to launch his own software company to solve the glitch, Dodenhoff has always had a gift for solving problems, be it technological or financial. “It’s an exciting time in our industry, and our clients are increasingly looking to Insight to provide the consulting, implementation and managed services that complement our world-class IT product and software sales capabilities,” Dodenhoff said shortly after taking the helm as president. Here’s to another decade of soaring profits.
