Degnan gets things done. The chief revenue officer at Snowflake, a technology firm focused on providing cloud-based data storage and intelligence solutions for companies of all sizes, he’s netted substantial progress under his leadership of the sales division, which he joined in 2013. The company was honored with the number one spot on LinkedIn’s list of the top startups of 2019. In that same summer, Degnan traveled to Japan to herald the launch of Snowflake alongside its partner, Amazon Web Services, and earlier helped to clinch the company’s strategic partnership with its rival, Google Cloud. Under his leadership, Snowflake’s success at helping customers store and manage their data, and especially cracking its pricing model, is now putting it in a position to compete with more established industry rivals such as Oracle, according to Forbes.
