VP, U.S. Clinical Solutions, Rhythm Management Division
As more of the U.S. population ages, the healthcare industry has become all the more important. Enter Boston Scientific, and more specifically, Thompson. As vice president of U.S. clinical services in the rhythm management division, Thompson’s job is to help make sure patients have access to the company’s groundbreaking and best-in-class medical devices, specifically advanced implants such as those used to treat arrhythmias. Thompson’s work is quite literally saving lives. An employee with Boston Scientific since 2001, he worked his way up from selling pacemakers and defibrillators to hospitals in Connecticut to a variety of roles in Chicago, New York, and Minneapolis, finally taking on his current position in spring 2018.
