President, Media & Marketplace
Real estate tech giant Zillow Group has been through a transformational time in the last few years, launching an entirely new line of business: a direct-to-consumer, online home selling platform. As part of its major reorganization, in 2018, Schwartz was elevated from chief business officer to president of the media and marketplaces division, where he presently oversees sales, business strategy, and product development for Zillow’s online real estate agent advertising, its mortgage arm, and new-home construction marketplace, among other aspects. Schwartz joined Zillow in 2007 and has been an instrumental player in the company’s growth and evolution, including during its 2014 acquisition of rival home search portal Trulia. Prior to Zillow, Schwartz was vice president of sales at CNN Money, where he launched the company’s news platform; before that, he was director of ad sales at Yahoo.
