Brannon’s career at FedEx has been intertwined with the company’s rise and growth. Beginning with FedEx in the mid 1980s, at what was then still an upstart shipping company, she has since ascended through various major milestones and sales leadership positions. She won the Five Star Award, the company’s highest team member honor, on three occasions, and helped facilitate FedEx’s acquisition of smaller courier company TNT in 2015. In early 2019, she was named executive vice president and chief sales officer, continuing to break the glass ceiling. In this role, she oversees 15,000 people and is responsible for $65 billion in annual revenue for the Fortune 500 company. She describes herself as a humanitarian, and was named among the “Women Worth Watching” by Diversity Journal in 2016.
