President Merchant Services & Investment Bank
JPMorgan Chase & Co.

As the president of merchant services and corporate investment banking at the largest bank in the U.S., Fitzsimmons holds a massively important and also high-pressure role. She was appointed to the job in 2018 after a successful start as the U.S. president of Chase’s commerce solutions, and previous roles as CEO of Cynergy Data, a far-reaching payments provider, as well as various other leadership roles at banking and financial services firms. In 2013, she was named one of the top 20 most influential women in payments by the magazine American Banker and again in 2015 by Payments Source. She regularly speaks on behalf of the company at events and is keen to celebrate the successes of her professional colleagues and peers. She’s also a leader in making sure Chase stays modern and was quick to embrace Apple Pay, saying in 2015, “Partnering with entities like Apple Pay is where we think we need to be to provide all things to all consumers at all times — as well as [to] our retailers.”
