David Ross

GE Vice President, President of Sales, North America at GE Power


Ross joined GE as a field engineer after graduating from college and has been rising through the ranks there for three decades. Before taking on his current role as Vice President of Sales for GE Power in North America, Ross spent time in South America, Asia, and Africa, focusing on industrial scale gas turbine projects, which helped to give clean power to those without electricity. Now, he’s an elected officer of the company, and helps lead GE Power, which generates $28 billion in revenue around the world and is home to more than 55,000 employees. Ross is also a Rhode Island native who is passionate about making his home state a better place to live. In addition to holding a Six Sigma Black Belt certification, he sits on the Advisory Board of the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center at New York State University, and he is also a founding member of the Advisory Board of Downingtown’s International Baccalaureate STEM Academy.
