Sibley has been a crucial part of business media giant Forbes for the past six years, working her way up from Vice President of Ad Sales to Chief Sales Officer to her current role as Chief Revenue Officer. She was a critical partner in developing strategies that resulted in Forbes achieving two of its strongest years back-to-back in 2018 and 2019. Her responsibilities are wide-ranging, from overseeing platforms like BrandVoice, Insight, and ForbesLive to direct sales, brand strategy, integrated marketing, and more. Forbes is far from the only media giant on Sibley’s resume. Previously, she held leadership positions at the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek, and Conde Nast, among others. In SalesTech, Sibley shared some insight on the benefits and challenges of today’s technological advancements. “Modern technology and the general availability of information has certainly made some aspects of business easier, but it has also increased overall competition twofold in every field,” she said. “In order to stand out from the pact, younger generations need to drive innovation and create something new in an already saturated marketplace, which is no easy feat.”
