Matthew Brandt

Vice President of Sales, Healthcare at Workday

Brandt’s career began on an impressive note, but not one that many may expect from a salesman of his caliber. He began his journey at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Following his four years at West Point, Brandt served for five years as an Officer in the United States Air Force. He then transitioned into aviation sales, and the rest is history. Climbing his way up the sales ladder, Brandt spent 2001 through 2011 at a few different companies — including a four-year stint at SAP — until he found himself with Workday. He continued to excel as an Account Executive at the company, eventually securing the position of Vice President of Sales six years later. It’s a role that comes with a lot of responsibility, considering Workday’s clients include some of the world’s largest organizations and government agencies. The company’s performance has been nothing short of impressive in an otherwise challenging time. In Q3, Workday reported bottom line growth of 62.3% year over year and an improvement of 17.9% in revenues. The organization also added a number of Fortune 500 clients to their roster — Accenture, UPS, Walmart, and General Electric all adopted Workday’s human capital management offerings during Q3.
