Thomas Ransom

Executive Vice President, Head of Sales and CX Strategy at Truist

Ransom has over two decades of experience as a leader at Truist Bank (formerly BB&T), where he is a driving force for strategic development, sales culture and optimization, analytics, training, and communications. His achievements extend outside of the office, though. Ransom currently holds a seat on the Corporate Advisory Council for the U.S. Black Chambers and has served on over a dozen boards of directors. He’s been honored with multiple awards, including the Washington Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” and Smart CEO’s top bankers of the mid-Atlantic region. Considering all of Ransom’s philanthropic endeavors, it makes sense that he has stuck with a company that shares the same mindset. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Truist began offering payment relief for their customers affected by COVID, and the bank made a $25 million philanthropic pledge in March 2020 to further support Americans during these difficult times.
