W. Thomas Stanley

Chief Revenue Officer at Tanium

Stanley started his career as a coder at IBM in the 90s before transitioning into the world of sales. He currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Andreessen Horowitz-backed global security startup Tanium, where he’s responsible for revenue, go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and the company’s growth across the globe. Stanley’s track record is consistently exceptional — he exceeds targets and has created multi-million-dollar revenue streams. When he was hired at Tanium in 2019, Co-CEO Fazal Merchant said that Stanley “brings a wealth of experience that will be invaluable in fueling the next stage of our growth.” Stanley is also a vocal proponent for education, youth advancement, and diversity and inclusion. He sits on a number of boards dedicated to these causes, including the Omega Uplift Foundation and Boys Hope Girls Hope International.
